The quilt top is made of a range of blue tone fabrics with spots and small flowers in a contrasting colour made into a washington star pattern. Each star is sashed with yellow fabric with small navy blue flowers. This is finished with a flange binding in pale blue and cream fabric. The backing is a blue and white paisley patterned fabric.
